Overview of the route

- Day 3. Chogom – Kozho Kelen (22km 2h driving and 3 hours walking around the village)
- Day 4. Kozho Kelen – Kosh Moinok (6 hours walking)
- Day 5. Kosh-Moinok — to upper of Sary-Mogol pass (17km 7 hours walking)
- Day 6. Cross the Sary Mogol pass stay in Akkiya campsite (6h walking)
- Day 7. From the camp to Damjailoo 1hour drive and 5hours walking
- Day 8. Damjailoo – Tulpar Kol (4hours walking then 2 hours driving)
- Day 9. Peak panorama of Tulpar Kol lakes (3, 4hours walking)
- Day 10. Walk to advanced camp (7 hours walking)
- Day 11. Advanced camp — Peak Yukhin (8hours walking and 2 hours driving) to Sary-Mogol
- Day 12. Sary-Mogol – Osh (220 km, 4h driving)
Day 1. Osh – Kara Koi ( 40 km, 1h, 4h walking)
Departure to Kara Koi after breakfast at the hotel.
The park is famous for its diverse ecosystems, which include alpine meadows, dense forests and pristine lakes. It is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, camping and wildlife watching.
The park plays an important role in conservation efforts, helping to protect the region’s unique habitats and wildlife.
Upon arrival we hike in the gorge up to the stunning view points then arrive to camp for overnight
altitude is 2500m

Accommodation type: Yurt Camp in one yurt 4 beds there total 5 yurts so 20 people can accommodate
Day 2. Kara Koi – Chogom (total distance is 23 km 8 hours walking; altitude is 2270m of
overnight)
Breakfast in the yurt.
Today we have a trek, starts just from the yurt we go uphill in a few hours cross the Kum-Bel
Pass (3860m) the back side is a very long lowering and passes along the Kichik-Alai mountain
ridge.
On the road we pass a thick juniper forest and the charming panoramic peaks over the hills
are having an opportunity for fantastic photos.
Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.
23km; from the yurt camp to Chogom settlement until the pass 3 hours then descent hiking takes 5 hours to the home stay.

Day 3. Chogom – Kozho Kelen (22km 2h driving and 3 hours walking around the village)
Breakfast in the guest house.
Today we head towards village of Kozho Kelen. The drive along the dusty road will take about 3 hours.
The road is not ideal for hiking because it is dusty auto road so we will go to Kozhokelen by car then we will have time for hiking to the blue cave water, waterfall and walking around the village.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Accommodation: Guesthouse (beds on the floor and share rooms)
The altitude is 2230 m a.s.l.
Day 4. Kozho Kelen – Kosh Moinok (14 km; 5 hours active hiking and total spending time
7 hours)
Departure after breakfast.
We will the tour on the slopes of the beautiful Cretaceous mountains of Kichi-Alay. First we
cross the Sary-Bel pass (3150m). Sary Bell is a picturesque spot known for its scenic
landscapes. The name «Sary Bell» translates to «Yellow Hill» in Kyrgyz, which might refer to
the area’s terrain or the appearance of the hills in certain seasons.
From Sary Bell we go down to another scenic gorge Kosh Moinok. This location is known for
its stunning mountain scenery and tranquil environment. It’s often frequented by those
looking to explore the Trans-Alay mountain range and enjoy activities such as trekking and
camping. The name «Kosh Moinok» roughly translates to «Two Pastures,» reflecting the
region’s pastoral landscape.

Accommodation: Yurt Camp (there are 2 yurts, it is for trekking tourists and beds are not available here, in one yurt 4-5people can sleep on the earth with national blankets, there are water running toilet and solar heater shower is available and Altitude is 2800m)
Day 5. Kosh-Moinok — Aigul Yurt Camp (trekking) (17km 7 hours walking)
Breakfast in the yurt camp.
We set off from the camping along the way of small villages Kyzyl Shoro and Sary Mogol, then we ahead on southern side. We feel that we are suitable for the Pamir Alai mountains. Walk up before the Sary Mogol pass and night in yurt camp “Aigul”
Altitude of campsite is 3500m
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Accommodation: Yurt Camp (condition is simple, there is water running toilet and sleeping is on the earth on the national mats, blankets and mats are provided and share yurt stay.
Day 6. Cross the Sary Mogol pass (trekking)
Today we are crossing a steep pass. In fact, the distance is not long, but the pass takes time.
An incredible sense of the landscape, you feel like in the sky, the height of the Pamir-Alai begins from the Sary-Mogol pass (4300 m) and down the pass, amazing rocky 4 lakes which flows a water linked each other flow into the cavern. Depending on weather conditions, we set up a tent around the lake or a few meters down
to protect from wind and cold and altitude of camping point is 3800m 12km; 6 hours walking to camping point.

Day 7. Drive to summer pasture of Kashka-Suu village.
We continue our trekking after breakfast.
Today walk along the amazing mountains of Alay valley, lots of summer pasture of local who lives in yurts and huts such as paradise of cattle astonished with fascinating landscape. This route is quite far so after 6 km walking you will be taken by car to summer pasture of Kashka-Suu village then onward again walking to dragon stone and night down the Keregetash rock. Altitude of overnight is 3870m. Driving 1.5hours (45 km) then 14km walking (4 hours).

Day 8. Damjailoo – Tulpar Kol (trekking)
Departure after breakfast.
Walk to see the whole view of the lakes. The total time takes 2hours for more exploration then walking back to driving point with other side of the Damjailoo forward drive to Tulpar-Kol lake (3500 m).
The lakes are surrounded by rugged mountain terrain, lush meadows. The reflections of the surrounding peaks in the clear, calm waters of the lakes add to them picturesque quality.
Damjailoo lakes offers excellent opportunities for hiking and trekking. Trails lead through varied landscapes, providing hikers with breathtaking views of the mountains and lakes.
The region is home to diverse flora and fauna, including species adapted to high-altitude environments. The natural habitats around the lakes support a variety of plants and animals.
Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp. Altitude is 3500m
7km, walking 4 hours, 65 km, driving 2hours.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Accommodation type: yurts (16 yurts with 2,3,4 beds in each yurt) and until 50 people can be accommodated in the comfort beds and solar heater shower and water running toilets are available.
Day 9. Peak panorama of Tulpar Kol lakes (trekking)
After breakfast, walk up to the panoramic view of Tulpar Kol Lakes, about 3 hours walking, then back down to the yurt and resting for more time for the upcoming days.
6km, 4 hours walking, 500meters height of Panorama Peak and altitude from sea level is 4000m

Day 10. Walk to advanced camp (trekking)
Departure after breakfast.
Walking to advanced camp on the way we pass the Base camp of Lenin Peak and Travelers pass(4140m). Approximately after 8 hours you can arrive to Advanced camp located at an altitude of 4400m. There is snow all the time. Overnight is at an altitude of 4400m.
12km, 7-8hours walking; Difference of height between Base camp and Advanced camp is 900m

Day 11. Advanced camp — Peak Yukhin (trekking) to Sary-Mogol
After breakfast, start climbing to Peak Yukhin (5300m)
One of Acclimatization mountains without crampon and rope can be ascend to the top but it takes a physical strength to reach the top.
After successfully reaching the top few minutes for photo enjoying, then walk back down to Base camp onward drive to Sary-Mogol. 3-4h climbing +5/6hours walking to Base camp. (total 17km)

Accommodation: night in guesthouse “Alay travel” 2 beds in each room and general shower and toilets, total beds are 20people
Day 12. Alay – Osh (220 km, 3-4h)
Departure after breakfast.
On the road to Osh you can see a fantastic mountain with different colors. The road serves as a crucial transportation link between Osh city, a major commercial and cultural center, and the Alay Valley, an area known for its stunning natural beauty and mountainous terrain.
The Alay-Osh road is not just a transportation route but also a gateway to experiencing the stunning natural landscapes and cultural richness of southern Kyrgyzstan.
Upon arrival in Osh, you can relax at the hotel or take a walk around the city on your own.
