Yurt accommodation at the Tulpar Kol lake
- The short itinerary:
- Day1. Sary-Mogol-Tulparkol lake (25km; 5-6h riding time)
- Day 2. Tulpar-kol lake – to the foot of Lenin Peak – Tulpar Kol (14 round way; 4-5h riding)
- Day3 Tulparkol to through Tuyukcanyon to Sary-Mogol (27km; 6-7hours riding)
Day 1. Sary-Mogol-Tulparkol lake
At 9 a.m. take horses to Tulpar-Kol lake, directed on wide valley in the reflection of giant snow covered Pamir-Alay mountains under
7000m. Start from the guesthouse around 09:00a.m. Lunch on the way at the shepherd’s house, and then continue horseback riding.
Arrival at the yurt camp, estimated arrival time is 16:00. relaxing for a few hours and tea against thirst then before dinner for an hour walking around the lakes during sunset.
Starting altitude is 3000m. Accommodation altitude is 3500m. The Highest riding height up to 3500m
Day 2. Tulpar-kol lake – to the foot of Lenin Peak – Tulpar Kol
We begin with the most popular route, covering a total distance of approximately 14 km round trip, taking around 6–7 hours.
Our journey starts at the Achyk-Tash area, where we cross a pedestrian bridge and immediately ascend into a picturesque gorge. The trail gradually leads us to the Alpinists’ Base Camp, a lively spot featuring a variety of colorful tent camps and traditional yurts. Along the way, you’ll see climbers preparing for their expeditions, adding an adventurous atmosphere to the trek.
As we pass the Alpinists’ Base Camp, we continue towards the Onion Glade, a stunning open area offering breathtaking views of icy, snow-covered peaks and the roaring Achyk-Tash River. This spot is perfect for photos and a short rest to soak in the incredible mountain scenery.
If you’re feeling energetic and eager to explore further, we’ll proceed to the Travelers’ Pass. However, if you prefer a shorter riding or feel ready to return, we can turn back from the Onion Glade
Day3 Tulparkol to through Tuyukcanyon to Sary-Mogol
Riding along the magical scenery of the wide Tuyk canyon, The neighboring yurt camp, which is located 5 kilometers from Tulpar kol,
has a stunning look of natural pasture against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks of Estonia (6,202 m) and Peak Latvia (6,134 m), two impressive peaks in the Zaalaysky Range.. Very wide valley attracts viewers
with charming landscapes. can be seen a lots of cattle and locals who are living in the yurts, huts, houses as summer pasture. Upon
arrival in the yurt lunch is served then continue horse riding to Sary-Mogol.
