Cycling around Sary-Mogol in Kyrgyzstan is an incredible adventure! Nestled near the stunning peaks of the Pamir-Alay mountain range, this region offers breathtaking landscapes, lush valleys, and the chance to experience the local culture.
Highlights of Cycling in Sary-Mogol:
1. Scenic Routes: You’ll encounter beautiful mountain views, glacial lakes, and diverse wildlife. The road to Sary-Mogol and surrounding areas is quite picturesque.

For mountain bikers would be an ideal cycling (downhill riding) until Sary-Mogol from Damjailoo lakes.

Route: Sary-Mogol-Damjailoo-Sary-Mogol: Driving from Sary-Mogol to the trekking point then slowly riding until the lakes, leave the bikes under the rocks, hiking to the rocky lakes of Kosh-Kol and Damjailoo then come to the bikes forward riding down to Kashka-Suu village and If you tired take a car for 25 km on highway or keep on until Sary-Mogol. (start at 3630m for 30km go and back to highway) then riding on asphalt road 25km). Kosh-Kol Lake: A stunning glacial lake that’s perfect for a rest stop. The turquoise waters surrounded by mountains create a serene atmosphere.
Sary-Mogol — Tulpar-Kol-Sary-Mogol: Cycling from Sary Mogol to Tulpar Kol is about 25 kilometers in 3 hours go up and down is 2 hours. If you want to train your health, you have the opportunity to ride a bicycle from Sary-Mogol to Tulpar-Kol and back, way via Tuyuk, Bouke or directly to Sary-Mogol with same road The road is unpaved, but ideal for cycling.
Tips for Cycling: If you don’t have your own bike, we have bicycles for rent. You can take from Sary-Mogol.
Best Time to Visit: Late spring to early autumn (June to September) is ideal for cycling, as the weather is milder and the trails are more accessible.
