Skazka Canyon (also known as Fairy Tale Canyon) is a stunning and colorful geological formation located along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) from Karakol and 220 kilometers (137 miles) from Bishkek. This natural wonder is famous for its unique, surreal rock formations that resemble fairytale castles, animals, and other whimsical shapes, hence its name.
