Arrival in Osh.
Osh is the second capital of Kyrgyzstan, famous for its more than 3,000 years of history. The city is known for its traditional way of life, influenced by both Uzbek and Kyrgyz cultures.
It is located at an altitude of 970 meters above sea level.
This 6-day trekking tour combines cultural immersion, breathtaking landscapes, and thrilling mountain trails—perfect for adventurers seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience in southern Kyrgyzstan.
Day1. Osh city-Kojo-Kelen village (drive tour)
Upon arrival at Osh International Airport or at any locations of Osh city, we will pick you up by car and transfer you to the Kichik-Alay region via the Osh-Papan road. The drive takes approximately 3 hours (95 km). The road is unpaved, and transportation is by 4WD jeep.
Upon arrival in the picturesque fairytale-like village of Kojo-Kelen, you will have a light walk for acclimatization. Accompanied by a local guide, you will visit the «Blue Cave Pool» grotto, located beneath a rock. The journey continues with a 30-minute walk to the waterfall. Other short walks will take place around the village.
Kojo-Kelen is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level and stretches for approximately 7 km. Before dinner, you will take an acclimatization hike. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at a guesthouse.
Overnight stay in the same place.
Note: Guesthouses are simple, with mattresses on the floor. 3-4 people will share one room.
Day 2: Kojo-Kelen to Jiptik Pass (hiking tour)
In the morning, you will wake up to fresh, clean mountain air. Breakfast will be served at around 08:00. The host will provide you with lunch boxes, and porters will carry heavy luggage.
The trek begins along the pristine, rushing Ak-Buura River, which provides water to the residents of Osh and Andijan (Uzbekistan). As you ascend, you will witness unique mountain formations, juniper forests lining both sides of the trail, and untouched landscapes.
Upon arrival at the campsite near the foot of Jiptik Pass, you will be welcomed by Bolot and his wife Erkinai, who will prepare dinner in a yurt.

Day 3: Jiptik Pass to Sary-Mogol (ascent and descent hiking)
Breakfast at 08:00. Ascent to Jiptik Pass (4,185 m).
The trail follows an old path Soviet-era road. The climb to the pass takes about 3 hours. From the top, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the eternally snow-covered Pamir-Alay mountains, including Lenin Peak (7,134 m).
The descent follows an ancient auto trail leading to a site called Darbaza-Tash («Stone Gate»). From here, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to a guesthouse in Sary-Mogol.

Day 4: Sary-Mogol to Tulpar-Kol Lakes (drive+ ascent hiking tour)
Breakfast at 08:00.
After breakfast, our driver will take you to the Tuyuk Gorge trailhead (approximately 1-hour drive). Upon arrival, the trek begins through a stunning canyon, offering views of Estonia Peak (6,202 m) and Latvia Peak (6,134 m) – two impressive summits of the Zaalay Range.
The next stage of the hike leads to a panoramic viewpoint over the Tulpar-Kol Lakes. This viewpoint offers spectacular views of Lenin Peak, the Alay Valley, and the famous «40 Lakes» glacial area (altitude ~4,000 m).
If you feel tired from previous treks, an alternative option is available: a scenic walk along the lake shore, reaching Tulpar-Kol in just 2 hours.

Day 5: Hike to Lenin Peak Base Camp (hiking)
Breakfast at 08:00. The hike starts at 09:00. You can leave your luggage in yurt camp and take only packed lunches.
The route continues toward Travelers’ Pass near Lenin Peak. Depending on the weather and participants’ endurance, the guide may adjust the plan and take an alternative hike to Onion Meadow then returning via the mountaineers’ base camp to same camp. Overnight stay in the same place.
Hike profile:
- Hiking time: 3 to 6 hours, depending on the destination
- Distance: 6 to 14 km (round trip)
Day 6: Return to Osh (drive tour)
Breakfast at 08:00-09:00.
Drive from the yurt camp to Osh (245 km, approximately 5 hours).
lunch in Osh, transfer to the hotel leave the heave stuff, afternoon explore the Sulaiman mountain (visit on museums, parks) end of visit.
