If you want to discover the majestic Chong-Alay range, relax in a quiet place far from city noise, and improve your health through outdoor activity, this route is an excellent choice.
The tour begins in Sary-Mogol village and continues toward Daroot-Korgon, the administrative center of the Chong-Alay district. The distance between the villages is about 63 km.
The road is mostly smooth asphalt, making it comfortable for cycling. Along the way you will ride with breathtaking views of the Trans-Alay Range, including the impressive Alay -Turkistan peaks, many of which rise above 5000 meters and remain covered with snow year-round.
After arriving in Daroot-Korgon, you will check into a local guesthouse. In the afternoon you can take a short walk around the village and visit the local historical museum, which offers insight into the region’s culture and history.
In the evening you will enjoy dinner at the guesthouse, and breakfast will be provided the following morning.

After breakfast, the ride continues toward Kosh-Dobo valley.
The first 3 km follow an asphalt road, after which the route turns into a well-maintained gravel road. The path follows the right bank of the Kyzyl-Suu River, passing through the small villages of Chak and Jashtilek.
Gradually the route enters a more remote mountain valley, surrounded by untouched nature. The road climbs gently into the mountains and leads to a scenic area with a beautiful waterfall.
Near the waterfall there is a traditional yurt camp, where travelers will stay overnight. The camp owner also operates a small trout farm fed by a clean mountain spring. Fresh fish can be caught here and prepared for dinner.

After breakfast, cyclists return along the same scenic route back to Daroot-Korgon.
After reaching the village, there will be an additional short 3 km ride toward the northern side of Daroot-Korgon. Here travelers can visit a historic section of the ancient trade route that was used during the Kokand Khanate period, when merchants transported silk and other goods across Central Asia.
In the afternoon you will return to the guesthouse and enjoy some rest. Guests can also participate in a traditional handicraft workshop, where local artisans demonstrate how felt products and wool souvenirs are made.
