Leave the heavy bags in yurt, walk to the traveler’s pass through the Base Camp enjoy the panoramic view of Lenin Peak, lunch then come back to the yurt with same route. Overnight in same yurt.

Daily route: Tulpar-Kol to Travelers' Pass-Tulpar-Kol.

Difficulty: Moderate to challenging (where is walking up to Travel Pass).

Description:

This trail takes you through alpine meadows and ascends to the Travelers' Pass (~4,130 m), offering breathtaking views of the whole view of Lenin Peak and the Alay Valley below. The high altitude and steep sections make this hike more challenging but rewarding.

If you don't want to go all the way to the pass then you will have the opportunity to get to the base camp (there and back 6 km 3 hours).

Upon arrival back to Tulpar-Kol onward drive to Sary - Mogol and night in the guesthouse.

In the morning, you will leave your heavy luggage at the guesthouse and receive a lunch box for the day. Afterwards, the guide and driver will pick you up from your guesthouse.

The journey begins with a 25 km drive on an asphalt road, followed by about 12 km of rough mountain road. After approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, you will reach a summer shepherd camp, where local shepherds stay in yurts while grazing their sheep during the summer season. The vehicle will remain here, and the hike will start from this point.

From the shepherd camp, you will continue on foot for about 7 km, gradually ascending along a gentle mountain slope. Because the trail lies at an altitude of around 3,900 meters, the walking pace may be slower due to the lower oxygen levels and higher altitude.

Reaching an elevation of about 4,200 meters, you will arrive at a spectacular viewpoint beneath the dramatic Snow cliffs, where several striking rocky peaks rise above the valley. The scenery here is truly impressive, offering breathtaking views of the wild high-mountain landscape of the Alay Range.

After enjoying the scenery and taking photos, you will return along the same route. Since the way back is mostly downhill, the descent is easier and usually takes about 2-3 hours to reach the vehicle.

From there, you will drive back to Sary-Mogol village, where you will spend the night again at the guesthouse.

Total distance: 45km /27.96 feet (one way).

Driving distance: 37km 23 feet.

Hiking distance: 7.5km (one side) 4.66 feet.

Time of reaching: one side 5hours (excluding break and lunch times).

Hiking elevation gain and loss: 648/130 meters.

Start altitude and finish altitude of hiking: from 3685m to 4206m (521m walking up).

Highest and lowest points of hiking area: 4206/2970 meters.

Tour difficulty: moderate to hard (one day round hiking).

Transfer to Osh

In the morning, departure for Osh city. The distance is approximately 220 km, and the drive takes about 4 hours. Since most scenic stops are usually visited on the way to Sary-Mogol at the beginning of the journey, the return drive normally continues without many stops. Arrival in Osh is expected around 12:00 noon, leaving you with free time in the afternoon.

Please inform us at the beginning of your tour if you would like to join this excursion, as the guide will not accompany the group on the final transfer day and the driver will manage the transport.
