Along the way, we stop at the Papan Reservoir, a vital water source supplying the city of Osh and irrigating agricultural lands in both Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Upon arrival in Kojo-Kelen, lunch is served at a local guesthouse. In the afternoon, we enjoy a light acclimatization hike (2–3 hours) to explore the natural highlights of the area, including the Blue Grotto and a scenic waterfall. Along the way, you may spot marmots, while above us soar golden eagles, bearded vultures, hawks, and owls. With some luck, more elusive animals such as wolves, foxes, badgers, wild boar, mountain goats, and jackals may be seen at a distance.
