Departure from Osh in the morning. The road follows the famous Pamir Highway and offers spectacular mountain scenery. Along the way there will be several stops to enjoy the grand views of the Alay Valley.
Arrival in
Sary-Mogol village, where lunch will be served at
Alay Travel House. After lunch, continue driving for about
1 hour to
Tulpar-Kol Lake and the yurt camp located near the foot of Lenin Peak.
In the afternoon guests can enjoy a relaxed walk around the beautiful Tulpar-Kol lakes.
Tulpar-Kol is one of the most scenic places in the Alay region, known for its traditional Kyrgyz yurt camps and incredible views of
Lenin Peak (7134 m). Visitors can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, and trekking routes of 3–4 days.

After breakfast leave heavy luggage in the yurt camp and start a hiking trip toward Travelers’ Pass (≈4130 m). The trail passes through the Lenin Peak Base Camp area, offering spectacular panoramic views of Lenin Peak and the surrounding glaciers.
Lunch will be served during the hike. After enjoying the views from the pass, return to Tulpar-Kol along the same trail.
For travelers who prefer a shorter walk, it is possible to hike only to Lenin Base Camp (6 km round trip, about 3 hours).

The route from Tulpar-Kol Lake to Tuyuk Canyon is a hidden gem for trekkers in the Alay Valley. This trail offers solitude, pristine alpine landscapes, and some of the best views of Peak Estonia (6,202 m) and Peak Latvia (6,134 m), two impressive peaks of the Zaalaysky Range.
Trail to Tuyuk Canyon
There are two hiking options:
Option 1 – Peak Panorama Trail
A moderate hike that climbs to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding peaks and glaciers.
Duration: about 4-5 hours round trip.
Option 2 – Lakeside Trail
An easier walk following the lakeshore and dirt road toward Tuyuk Canyon.
Duration: about 2-3 hours, suitable for relaxed hikers.
Nomadic Culture
During the summer months you may meet local shepherds and nomadic families living in yurts, offering a chance to experience authentic Kyrgyz nomadic culture.
After enjoying the spectacular scenery, the trail gradually descends toward a shepherd’s hut From there, travelers continue by vehicle to Uch-Chat summer camp.

Accommodation:Overnight stay in a traditional yurt (shared beds). Dinner will be prepared by the camp’s cooking team.
Connection:There is no electricity and no internet connection at the camp.
After breakfast at Uch-Chat summer camp, the journey continues with an exciting off-road drive through remote mountain landscapes. The route follows narrow mountain roads across high plateaus and valleys, offering spectacular views of the Alay Mountains.
During the drive, travelers will pass through juniper forests, rocky formations, alpine meadows, and small mountain rivers. Several panoramic viewpoints along the way provide excellent opportunities for photography and short breaks to enjoy the pristine nature of this rarely visited region.
The route continues through the Kara-Kur settlement, where you will end the mountain off road tour onward drive to Osh city, where the tour ends.
