Clothing and Practical Tips
For this tour, you will need light and comfortable clothing, as most parts of the route pass through warm mountain valleys. However, early mornings and evenings can be a bit chilly, especially in higher areas.

From June to September, the weather is generally warm, but it’s always good to have some extra layers for comfort.
In almost every overnight location, there are small local shops, where you can buy snacks, drinks, or other small items you may need.
It’s a good idea to carry some cash in local currency (KGS), as card payments are usually not available in remote mountain areas.

In the morning, we depart from Osh and begin our scenic drive toward Kara-Koy Gorge (approximately 2 hours). The road gradually leads us from the fertile Fergana Valley into dramatic mountain landscapes, where red sandstone cliffs and vast juniper forests create a striking contrast against the blue sky.
Upon arrival at Kara-Koy National Park, you will immediately feel the tranquility of this untouched natural environment. After a short rest, we begin an optional 1–2 hour hike to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the impressive Kumbel Pass. From the top, you can enjoy breathtaking views of surrounding mountain ridges and deep gorges — a perfect introduction to the wild beauty of southern Kyrgyzstan.
After the hike, we descend to our cozy traditional yurt camp located inside the park. The yurts provide an authentic nomadic atmosphere combined with comfort. In the evening, enjoy a freshly prepared local dinner and relax under the clear mountain sky filled with stars.

Walking for excellent views of Peak Lenin and the climbers’ base camp on the opposite side of the AchykTash River, as possible as going until the traveler’s pass, afternoon go behind by same path to the yurts. Stay in yurt.
After breakfast, we begin the return journey toward Gulcho village. The drive follows a scenic mountain road through beautiful gorges and traditional villages such as Toguz-Bulak, Ken-Zhylga, Kara-Bulak, and several others, offering excellent opportunities to experience authentic rural life and landscapes of southern Kyrgyzstan.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Kara-Kulja. Upon arrival, we visit the local museum to learn more about the animals of the region. Overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse in this charming mountain town.
Today we enjoy a very scenic drive through beautiful mountain landscapes. On the way, we stop at the famous historical Uzgen Minaret, an important architectural monument dating back to the Karakhanid period. Here you will have time to explore and take photos.
Continuing our journey, we arrive in Arslanbob village, known for having the largest natural walnut forest in the world.
In the afternoon, we hike to the Big and Small Waterfalls, visit the Red Cave, and explore the local bazaar to experience village life and traditional products.
Overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse in Arslanbob.
After breakfast start the hiking in Arslanbap. At first walk to big waterfall then descend to the small waterfall and walk up to Panoramic view of the village, our short hiking ends around lunch time, afterward leave to Arkyt village under the Sary-Chelek lake.
Sary-Chelek a natural reserve is located in Jalal-Abad region in the west of Kyrgyzstan.
The reserve was established in 1959, and in 1978 was recognized by UNESCO as the World Biosphere Reserve. The reserve is located at an altitude of 1200 to 4250 meters above sea level.
The lake and the surrounding biosphere reserve of Sary-Chelek is one of the most beautiful sights of Kyrgyzstan. The habitat for 1,000 different plants and rare mammals, such as the bear and lynx, Sary-Chelek - is an excellent place for visit of travelers.

Osh is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country and it has 3,000 years old. In the center of Osh is located Sulaiman Too it is one great panoramic mountain over the city.
