Overview of the Route
Sary-Mogol-Tulparkol lake (25km; 5-6h riding time) At 9 a.m. take horses to Tulpar-Kol lake, directed on wide valley in the reflection of giant snow covered mountains under 7000m.
Start from the guesthouse around 09:00 a.m. Lunch on the way at the shepherd’s house, and then continue horseback riding. Arrival at the yurt camp, estimated arrival time is 16:00. relaxing for a few hours and tea against thirst then before dinner for an hour walk on the lakes during sunset. Starting altitude is 3000m. Accommodation altitude is 3500m. The Highest riding height up to 3500mTulparkol lake – to the foot of Lenin Peak – Tulpar Kol Breakfast. Horse riding from the lake towards Peak Lenin glacier takes you straight up the valley into the Pamirs. You are in sight of giant peaks, the whole time with the river on your right.
